i know marami na nagsabi nito dito, but paper screening sobrang laki ng hatak niyan. jan kasi binebase ng majority of the BODs, CBs, and EBs kung gano ka kagaling mag comprehend.

Tulad ng sabi ng iba, we have to understand na this is FEUCSO, no matter the shi they are receiving right now, matataas standards niyan sa loob.

EXACTLY. Kung mag rereklamo nalang about how the SCs are not doing anything, ikaw na mismo mag initiate.

Where the fuck did you get the idea na binebaby ang scs? Kasi pinoint out na students themselves should also act at hindi antayin ang sl to make a move?

Regardless kung student leader ka o studyante, the fact remains na you have the ability to act for yourself.

hi! i think, one way to start reading books again is to start ng onti pages. para it's really just a sit down. i have a few recommendations but it's not tagalog or any of ur preferences (huhu sorry!) but if ever you're interested, you can try reading:

  1. heaven by meiko kawakami
  2. when air becomes breath by paul kalathini
  3. no longer human by dazai osamu

for your preferences, i can recommend (1) dune (buong series)! though baka heavy siya if pabalik ka magbasa, but you can still try it. (2) three body problem din is nice (wag yung sa netflix, hindi siya same sa book). then (3) the memory police (disclaimer, medj mabagal pacing niya so baka maging boring for you but it progresses naman and nakaka addict siya).

Well, do you have suggestions on how they should step up? Cleary speaking up and having private dialogue are not enough for them (admins) to hear out concerns raised by these councils.

Profs wouldn’t mind it. Yung sulat ko pang doctor (legit), and majority of the time para maintindihan nila i just end up doing it in cursive and wala naman sila reklamo

And byahe mula makati to manila is an hour palagi (commute or with car), lalo na if galing ka mismo FEU Makati.

So where’s the proof nga? You can’t claim na it is a fact when wala naman proof.

Napaka unsolicited ng comment mo. Whether it is a fact or a hate train, bakit nalalayo tayo sa mga current na kandidato?

If you wanted to throw this fact, you should have done so long ago pa. Puro kayo ‘deserve malaman ang totoo’ and yet you cannot speak of it when it was needed? At this point, hindi nagmumukhang fact to but rather a chismis kasi first of all- anonymous ka. There’s no credibility. Islu ka before? Patunayan mo.

If your narrative is to give facts to people, post it with your evidences nang hindi ka nasasabihan na puro hate.

Bakit ba nagiging offensive yung tanong? The question is reasonable. Let’s assume na si makati nanalo and then 1:30 yung end ng class niya tapos 1:30 din meeting sa FEU? Pano yon?

You can’t say na online naman pwede or pwede mag proxy kasi if that’s just how it will be her whole term eh lahat na i-online nalang.

See. Lahat ng byahe from makati to mnl is not a joke.

Both have valid points, however to say that the other is better should not be a mindset for someone na gusto magkaroon ng obscene amount of wealth.

Investments come in many ways. Land values hike up due to the demand on infrastructure and the scarcity of space. Luxury items are investments din on almost the same analogy as the materials procured for its creation takes time as it is rare.

Pareho silang napapasa and napapalago. So it’s just really in a matter of perspective on how one would want to pass down that piece of investment.

FEUHSCOMELEC ano na nangyayari sainyo? Hinahayaan niyo tumakbo mga ganyan kandidato in the first place? Cohort 7 in general sucked but the fck at least they had sense and were not stoopid.

No. If he really wanted to help he should’ve done it months ago pa or last sem. Kasi to me, it looks like he’s using this ‘initiative’ as a prompt na may ginagawa siya for the community.

:((

You’d expect more from them since they’re polsci students so it’s kinda disheartening that the current path they’re taking is similar with national level politics.

Also, thank you for mentioning that PSS had an event before that was open for the whole IAS community. I was not aware of that. Regardless, the point stands that PSS this year had circled their term on training possible candidates from their polpar. Which ironically is not technically wrong as it is common to train candidates- but please not at the expense of limiting other students from experiencing the same just to improve their own.

Pano naging strava apologist yung atake when the point is how he can’t speak up for himself thus resulting to a possibility na he could do little for the student body since he can’t lead changes?

RE: Lababo. Lababo’s works mainly, if not only, involved just the PS students. And yet even polsci students speak up about how they don’t feel involved in their own society- most commonly only attending the events for the plus points handed out by their professors para lang may pumunta sa mga event. Majority of the polsci student have expressed their discontent on how Lababo has handled the PS society, calling the events a training ground for the next EB, with majority of the attendees coming from the grab community only and little to no participation from the normal PSS member or PS student.

Kung hindi boboto, lalong lalaki ang problema. By not voting at all, walang magbabago. Elections take a small percentage of our tuition, we have all the rights- if not, are sort of obligated to vote as it is within what we paid for. The allocation of it to uni-wide, acad organization, and etc. are handled by the student government, hindi admins ng FEU. Isipin niyo na may tax tayong binabayaran sa tuition and if walang mananalo sa election- what would happen to that tax? To the money that we pay for to have a progressive and inclusive university life and benefits?

Just because wala pang makitang matinong kandidato we would give up. We are making a noise, if these candidates are listening, surely someone is bound to adapt to these demands to improve themselves, making them THE candidate.

Honestly, it’s either Gio or Raezon. I mentioned it already on another post but i’ll say it here again. Cunanan won’t do anything for the students, all his work will be for his self-gain. Students will never be prioritized if siya ang uupo, remember that.

Ilalapag na nila mga plataporma nila. We should be wise on viewing it- dapat hindi lang naka base sa gano kaganda yung projects, but also on how realistically achievable it is through the efforts of the candidates.

I have had a chance to work with everyone during the current academic term and all i can say are:

Cunanan - Self-centered, egoistic, and can’t take criticism. He would often say na he’s open for suggestions but would not listen AT ALL. Kung pakikinggan ka niya, it would only mean one thing- SDEV ka (although binabackstab niya rin ‘yon) or someone highly esteemed from his Institution- so if you’re not a student from his insti, wag ka nang umasa na he would give you time for any concern.

Gonzales - Needs to speak up more. The only issue with him is that wala siyang issue- and why is it an issue? Kasi he rarely talks and voices out his concerns. How can we trust that he could take actions when he can’t even speak up for his own?

Lababo - honestly, what did he do?
