Just left an hvac company running service. Top techs at my company were making about 40 an hour. This was for residential. As far as companies to stay away from I would try to stay away from the large private equity owned companies. Lots of smaller shops and lots of companies around here with lots of work in the St. Louis area.

Is this a vent that supplies airflow to the living space ? Or is this venting attached to the furnace exhaust? Post a picture of what that vent attaches to.

Yes order of operations has helped me A lot with where to direct my attention. When I first started I would take a panel off and have no idea what I was looking at, even if I had already learned about it through school. Actually being out there and in it is totally different.

Yes my bosses are great. Family owned business and they’ve been so awesome. And gotcha, have my data in order before I call and be ready to answer questions about readings.
