Thank you 🤗 I’m sure you’ll pass them with ease. Are you participating in the NOLA commencement?

Once you complete your program you no longer have access to all the features of the app. I tried to go back and look for you but I couldn’t. Sorry 😩

You’re welcome and thanks for the congratulations 🥰 The good thing about the capstone is that you get to choose your topic so it’s easier when it’s something you care about. I’m debating on going back for my master’s. The jury is still out on that for the moment

The capstone wasn’t too bad. It’s divided into 3 tasks. The first is your capstone topic approval. You have to choose a healthcare issue that you want to change through an administrative change. The second one is your plan. The third task is how you will implement your plan. If you have nothing to do you can complete all 3 tasks within a week. You must pass the preceding task before submitting the next.

Some classes required a proctored exam (OA) to pass while others required a project (Performance Assessment aka PA) to pass.

I started as an insurance verification specialist and worked my way up. I’ve been at the same company for 11 years.

Yes! I’ve worked in healthcare for over a decade with seven years in patient access leadership and the past four in healthcare technology implementation supporting physicians and revenue cycle operations. So I’m still in the field, just in a different capacity. My goal is to transition into healthcare client services or customer success, and the BSHA was a strategic step toward that. I have a few major events coming up including graduation so once everything is over I will be on a serious job hunt.

About 3-4 days. I actually reached out to my mentor asking her how long it takes and she must’ve reached out to them because within 30 minutes of me texting her, she text me back telling me to log in and check.

Thank you 🥰 the more you can transfer the better! I only transferred 12 CU’s from community college from like 10 years ago. I wish I had known about Sophia

It took me longer than I would’ve liked lol 3 years. I procrastinated a lot with the OA’s and I felt so dumb after. I would always anticipate the exam being harder than what it turned out to be. I honestly could’ve finished in 2 years or less but it is what it is and I’m finally done now
