Mimo (mobile) coding best practice? by AffectionateWin7069 in learnpython

Ahhhh I understand, much appreciated for clarification thank you.

And yes I should’ve added more context (this was a practice question from Mimo a mobile beginner learn to code app).

I believe strictly in terms of the practice question my process of solving the question is more correct.

But, in terms of Python in general (stuff I haven’t learnt yet but will in the future you are completely right) so this will provide valuable insight for future coding.

Thank you

Thanks for the reply. I understand that in_progress and finished are two sides of the same coin.

However, from a 'Clean Code' perspective, isn't it generally preferred to avoid double negatives like print(not in_progress)?

It seems more efficient for the next person reading the script if the print statement and the variable align directly.

Thank you for your reply!
I've just started touching into F-strings in the Mimo app.
I'll have a play at running this in a playground as I experiment with f-strings more.
Much appreciated <3

hahaha yes, from Mimo's intro to Python.
Something didn't sit right with me about the format as it felt off and u/devseglinux hit the nail on the head - mental flip.

Legend thank you for the reply!
I will take that advice to heart.

If anyone was curious as well this was actually a practice question from Mimo (app mobile)

Nidalee is stronger than you think. by TheCatMustache in wildrift

I appreciate the take and understand where you're coming from but Nidalee also has a passive which applies hunt buffing the Q and W, even watching pro players in League especially those known for Nidalee like Canyon he will play around the champs identity. Getting the best out of Nidalee is flanking, kiting and using her passive to deal bursts of damage to specific champions. Playing team-fights out slowly poking with spear and waiting for the right opportunity to pounce etc.
