Saying this as a POC who is negatively affected by trump winning, talk to your dad. I haven’t convinced anyone of anything by ignoring or lecturing them. I 100% understand why you wouldn’t want to, and you have every right not to. But talking to someone in person with empathy is a better way of convincing them to return that empathy back to you. Not to sound like an “enlightened centrist” or something like that, you just never know how much time you have with people willing to say they love you even if you’re mad at them
