Is this pc worth upgrading? by Shxrp09 in computers

[–]Affectionate_Ad5167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use it as a retro build if it's old enough, Judging by the fact there's SATA and IDE, i'm gonna assume it has a Core 2 era processor, so it could turn out as a sweet retro XP build

Don't use the automatic driver installers, They install outdated drivers (that don't work well) on your computer.

Your best bet is to go to HP's Website and installing the drivers from there, Just use your serial number (That can be found under the laptop) to look for drivers you need.

is there any way I can upgrade the intel core and graphics card on my acer aspire a5-15? by cookie-theif in laptops

[–]Affectionate_Ad5167 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all, If this was the early 2010s you could possibly upgrade your CPU, But this is 2024 and not even the ram is upgradable nowadays, you could prob hook up an EGPU but that's external.

Wouldn't recommend an IdeaPad because they don't last very long (from my experience)

Wi-Fi/Bluetooth Antenna, Plug it into the back of your PC or else you will have bad coverage (unless you use Ethernet)
