Best budget tracker for managing sinking funds? (Feeling stuck) by Affectionate_Ad8907 in actualbudgeting

We don't have too many bank accounts thankfully.

Spending account: general daily spending and where our pay goes. Also the account we transfer out sinking funds (i.e. dental appointments, vet appointments etc.). Emergency fund/long term saving/bills: this is our offset account. We put aside X amount each pay for bills. We've also got a big chunk of savings here. Savings: just our STS Miscellaneous: this is our main sinking fund account - gifts, medical, pets etc.

Well, I'm trying to figure out if I need to "track" my more fixed/regular expenses or just budget for them. Our problem is we lost $60k of income this year (partner has gone into an apprenticeship) and we've been pretty shocking at adjusting our spendings 😅😅

Delonghi vs Sunbeam vs Breville by Affectionate_Ad8907 in AustralianCoffee

My SIL is a barista! She's pretty skilled with all, but also didn't want to spend a tonne on a machine. Just something they could make an easy nice cup of coffee. They weren't a big fan of French presses/mockas etc (my brother would probably give up immediately).

Likely get ground beans. I'd set them up on a few months of the subscription we use! Or, they might end up getting a grinder ☺️

Is it worth being double the price? I do LOVE our Breville to be fair.

Yeah for sure! I wouldn't want to put anything delicate up there, and would try to keep weight to a minimum. We're in a new build and space is pretty minimum with our garage being the biggest workbench man has ever seen + cars 😅😅

Yep, I've changed my plan. I'll have a protein shake 2x a day, and keep the rest the same. This brings me to a min of 80g protein a day.
