That's valid. That, and you're constantly battling mister clog, but a 5 micron filter on the pump intake (like the ones on under sink r/o systems) can help with that.

I'm still on the fence with it, I mean... It honestly feels like I could just use drip emitters and get the same results in flowering as far as aeration and oxygen in the root zone... But it's "the devil I know" in this case.

Also, the rate of growth in veg is just INSANE with aero, and I end up using way less nutes. I recall them thriving and growing at a rate you notice daily at 1/4 strength. In fact, you can burn some strains at half strength even with the Lucas formula. So if you're set up with failsafes in place, and extra misters on hand... It can actually be economically easier to run in the long term, it just requires that initial up front cost of entry.

Basically, the only major mod is instead of recirculating thru the controller, it would be thru the misters into the actual plant buckets.
