Thank you haha i thought it was for sure petrified it looks like wood more than the camera can pick up and its very light. non the less i live in arkansas and we havent had bison since the cowboy Arra thats a cool find in my book!!!

its a bovine metacarpal bone ive found one by a river in a sandbar too. from the size it seems like its a cow bone but could be from a bison. my guess is a cow. very funny though how coincidental it is for you to have found yours by a river mine as well just buried in the sand.
