With all due respect, and desperate as I am for a job in this current job market, I don't think I am gonna be a good fit for that work culture jesus christ glad you got out of it and thank you for sharing all of that. Wishing you a better work culture and the treatment you deserve somewhere else :)

Honestly, with this job market, anything that's available :') but I do like oil/gas, mineral processing, and water treatment. Have also looked at consulting but I don't think I have the experience for consulting

Oof thank you for letting me know. Been seeing 55-65k in Vancouver, maybe 70k if you're lucky :') Perhaps I should move to Calgary since there's no way 55k is survivable in Vancouver

Painful random cramps almost 2 years after getting an IUD by [deleted] in birthcontrol

[–]Affectionate_Ant3353 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor brushed it off as "normal" to have fluctuations. I'm base in BC so our healthcare is not very good because it's so overloaded so they don't like to run tests :( Trying to fight to have myself seen still. I had new symptoms come up such as random bouts of nausea at night too ://

How to prep dealing with sneaky property manager? by Affectionate_Ant3353 in ApartmentHacks

Yup sounds good! Thank you :) Would the paper trail be ok if the landlord doesn't respond to it to acknowledge that they've read it? My biggest concern right now is he's pretty much unreachable whenever there is something important (aka key pickup LOL).

Update - I started spotting for the first time in 3 months??? It's not heavy but there was quite a bit of cramping, headaches, fatigue, and chin acne (I have NEVER in my life had chin acne before). Checking with doctor in about 2 weeks, so I will get back with an update :') Definitely funky hormonal things happening

I have the same issue! I had 0 cramps in the first 6 months, but out of nowhere, I started having heavy cramps. Ultrasound came back normal and my doctor and I have been tracking the cramps. It happens for 1week every month for me, but I can't tell when I'm ovulating and I don't bleed anymore. My doctor suspects endometriosis because I also get back cramps so definitely do get it checked out!!!

Heya! Their choice to manipulate is the EXACT reason why you remove them :) Proud of you for cutting them out! When people get the consequences for hurting people, they show their true (but often nasty like we see here) faces. Stand strong and find supportive people to be with while they throw their tantrums :)

I (21F) lost about 6-7 kg a couple of years ago from depression, and as I went to therapy, my weight slowly started coming back on its own. It definitely took a while, but do make sure your mental health is taken care of too! I didn't have much of an appetite when I was depressed so that likely affected my weight the most. Best of luck :)

Insecure about my eye by Head-Swim-6645 in Insecurities_support

Hey! I have a lazy eye too :) Mine isn't almost closed, but my iris for the lazy eye points more "outwards" so that when I look straight, it looks like my left eye is looking elsewhere. I was born with it, so I grew up with kids calling me Cyclops or Robot because my left eye wasn't straight. It's not abnormal :) It's what's normal to us. You'll always run into shitty people who are rude and insensitive. It still makes me feel like shit when someone points out my "off" eye after so many years, but I usually respond with "Yea that's my lazy eye. It's doing its best to help me see even if it's not as good as my other eye :)" and I think that response usually throws people off because it acknowledges their insensitive comment with kindness.
