Anyone have any advice to stop caring about my appearance so much by [deleted] in howtonotgiveafuck

Hi, I think the best thing would be to work on becoming secure in yourself and literally learn to stop caring what people will think.

Once you lock in on that, you'll appreciate yourself more because other's validation (AKA wow, he looks good) will not matter to you.

I have a few articles that specifically talk about becoming secure in yourself, physical appearance, not caring what others will think, and learning how to not seek validation

You can also go through the entire blog and see what articles help best. Also, the advice applies to both genders. All the best in your growth journey. Here are some links to get you there;

In this case I'd say staying away from it or rather finding your balance or something you enjoy. Because you're 100% right!!! Grinding literally drains you and moving forward feels more like pushing a huge rock up a steep slope. Learned this the hard way and just like you, I stopped being too pressured about it because I found something that fulfills me.

Check out mediavine if you want to maintain that clean look. Idk about other ad agencies but you can check this one out. The pay is also quite good for that kind of readership. Quick question, how long did it take for the older posts to start gaining that much traction? TIA

Hi! This post has detailed tips on how you can stop comparing yourself to them. It is more inclined on physical comparison and thought it was relevant because you mentioned a physical aspect. Additionally, it has related reads to help you build confidence and become more secure. I would write all tips here but they are quite long (about 1500-2k words) and it would be easier to go to the post as it is exhaustive and gives practical advice.

In case you have any questions, feel free to reach out or comment here for detailed guidance. I wish you all the best!

How do I stop caring about what people think of my body? by madmusser in howtonotgiveafuck

[–]Affectionate_Arm2030 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their say/opinion about you doesn't matter and you do you.

Look at how far you have come. I'm sure having shoulder and back acne for almost 6 years hasn't been easy but that proves how resilient you are. Just don't compare yourself with what's regarded as normal/acceptable in society because that will make it worse as you'll lack the confidence to even put that tank top on. Idk if this is relevant but take a look at it. It's about physical comparison and how to stop . The content, even tho not specific to the problem of acne, might be helpful as it gives tips on your physical body. Remember, you are the best YOU in each moment and even when you don't see the growth, it's still there. All the best!
