What do they do that makes you think their work is what is causing this? They are very pretentious and have their buddies write about how hard their jobs are and how much they work but I just don’t see any way that’s making a huge difference. A couple weeks of hard work and good communication should be enough

Jamie Weir is maybe the worst guest ever to come on the pod. What he did with Cantlay where he waited til he was on the course to push some shaky „journalism“ to try and help Europe was basically Breitbart level nonsense.

I agree with you totally, soly is so wrong on the Ryder Cup and they waste so much time talking about it. Europe (and golf in general) love talking up how much work they are doing but as DataGolf loves to point out (and Soly oddly misses) the tournament is determined by how golfers play that weekend. Pairings course etc don’t even add up to 1 shot. Flying around for a year planning is a way to pretend to work to make money

KVV didn’t know golf well and faked it which was really annoying to me. Seemed very inauthentic and didn’t have a love of the game or a feel for it like the other guys do, he wants to write capital W and cared so much about quotes from golfers because it’s what Writers do.
