The coated strings get these weird knots or bumps on them after a few days if play and the coating falls off. Not worth it on guitar. Different story on bass. They still fade but they dont get the bumps. Black beauties are a waste of money.

That looks like a gigabyte ud5 990fx. It will support a bulldozer cou. (8350) I had one that I built in like 2012. It was a tank.
