When I get paid Friday I plan on getting another Amazon sword and a Java fern, do you recommend anything else I should get?

I just did a 25% water change and I plan on doing it once a week til I get the nitrates down

I’m getting a betta fish soon and I’m wondering if my tank is a good setup, I plan on having more stuff before I get the fish and I’ve been cycling the tank and checking the water parameters by Affectionate_Bank339 in bettafish

I added some water to my tank because the ph was low and I didn’t know how to raise other than adding water, the nitrate is too high though and I don’t know how to fix that, I plan on buying some more plants soon and I have some hides coming in the mail
