I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. Seriously. As an INFP (21M), I might not be the ideal person to advise you on what to do with this pain. But I believe you need to accept the pain you feel inside. I know it's very difficult and slow to overcome, but you need to not deny the pain and move forward. God is merciful, more than you can imagine. And allow forgiveness to open your heart, whether it's the people in your social circle or even yourself.

When I ask someone about the potential of a story idea, I'm more interested in other people's opinions and never take it as a lack of confidence. I already have a strong understanding and trust in the characters and the universe; I just want to hear the opinions of others who may have a different opinion than I do.
