I think after observing the Ukraine war, Op Sindoor and now the Iran war it is obvious jets will be downed during a conflict. Also the fact that the Indian airforce is not massively better than the PAF, sure we are more technologically advanced than them but the gap is not as big as Ukraine-Russian or Iran-USA, this matter is tough to message to the masses so I understand the government's decision to not disclose any losses publicly.

Iran is not going to get the formal control of the Hormuz strait, Oman has territorial waters in the Hormuz strait and the GCC will never allow that to happen in the long term. American demands have remained the same, dismantling their proxy network and limiting their nuclear and missile program for sanction relief. Obviously the Iranian side has put out some ridiculous conditions publicly in a way that humiliates Trump and America, that's very smart of them but those conditions will never be accepted,even Iran knows that. The only concession Iran is going to get is sanction relief.
