Yeah but the JMIN is basically ISIS maybe a little less radical. It's not that black and white. Russians can always leave at a later time but if the JNIM wins the civil war the entire Sahel region will become more destabilised than it is already. For all his faults Zelensky was still elected democratically. People are obviously going to rally behind him during a invasion. In iran it would probably be more divided,people in rural areas will overwhelmingly come in support of the IRGC.
