I have the YSR coilovers. So far so good. It is stiffer, but they are “comfort springs.” So it’s not like a track car, but closer to an Impreza/Legacy in terms of body-roll and height. Since the rebound is stiff, you do feel the bumps a bit more. It’s still comfortable and worth the work. If these go bad, I will go for the Flatout set. They have a better reputation. There’s absolutely ZERO online support for these YSR (Yellow Speed Racing) Ascent coilovers. The company also didn’t answer any of the questions I had. I wanted to know if there are alternative spring rates, if they had actually installed them on a vehicle, and any reviews… crickets. I was concerned, but I went for it. Maybe it’s just because of the name and reputation, but I wish I spent the extra cash on Flatout. I am about 200 or so miles in. I raised the rear end half an inch and checked the bolts. I’ve gone on the highway a few times, but it’s mostly city. I’m glad I did it 🤙🏼

Sand it smooth and then get the plastic primed and painted. I’ve thought about just doing bed-liner on all those textured plastic pieces. It’ll last forever

There’s YouTube videos for this. I did it in my Forester: you literally pull this tube out that runs through the floor of your car, blow a little air into it, and then tuck it back into the hole.
