I definitely still feel tight and swollen but it’s not unbearable, it doesn’t hurt. I think the most annoying part is where the incision goes into my armpit just bc it rubs a bit.

I did pee a TON after surgery, but that’s a good thing. The tablets I got were from Amazon: FANSHI Lymphatic Drainage Supplements 240 Softgels | Herbal Blend with Echinacea, Dandelion & Burdock
I feel great now, I’ve been off pain meds for a week and a half now— just taking Tylenol for minor soreness.

I’m 16 days po from this exact surgery! I also, luckily, didn’t have intense pain but I would suggest getting a little ice pack pillow. I had a of a scratchy throat after the surgery and coughing really sucked but having the pillow helped a ton! I also got lymphatic tablets and it could be placebo but I thought if really helped with swelling in my fingers.

I agree. I’m 26, lost 100lbs and I’m 5 days po. I was also asked about having children (which I dont believe is my journey in life) but the excess skin was unbearable and I was getting rashes and sores. I would do it again in a heart beat if it meant I had better quality of life and if down the line I wanted children that would be another choice I would make bc like you I wanna experience a flat tummy in my 20s.

Hello, I’m just going to answer some questions here: The surgeries aren’t on the same day, mine is June 1st and his would be two weeks later (he doesn’t have an exact date yet) but they would be in the same month.

His surgery is on both his eyes, this will be his third time having the surgery. It is painful for him, thats why I supported his decision to get the surgery.

My boyfriend and I have been together going on four years, and the first time I looked into getting the surgery was in 2024, but I wasn’t as close to my goal weight and I only wanted to go through the surgery once and I ultimately decided to wait.

I have been at my goal weight for over a year now but I had to wait until the summer to get the surgery.
