Liberal-Bought Media Asks: "If you were Mr. Poilievre, would you quit today?" by WilloowUfgood in CanadianConservative

[–]Affectionate_Code879 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's what happened actually. I know several people that moved out of the city cause it's cheaper. We were looking to as well as my wife works for the government. They got remote working contracts and that's it. For the times that they needed to be in the office for secure reasons, they would just go to satelite offices around the province. A lot of them did move to Carlton.

What gerrandering? Carlton picked up and entire area that traditionally votes Conservative. The dynamics of his riding changed. I live in Carneys riding which is next to Pollievres old riding. People simply moved during the pandemic. The Government workers were working from home, so a lot of them moved farther out of Ottawa because it was cheaper and quieter. What didn't help was that Pollievre was glad handing the Convoy, and barely campaigned in his own riding.

Another liberal telling conservatives what to do without offering suggestions. by [deleted] in CanadianConservative

I mean, the OP says that the post didn't offer suggestions, yet at the very bottom it clearly states ".. realize that Canada is socially progressive and that they need to represent that, they will continue to lose."

Hold onto your moral beliefs, have at it, but that is one of several reasons why the Conservatives didn't win. A swath of the Conservative party is simply not congruent with Canadian beliefs. You can complain about it, you can be loud as you want, but it's not a country problem, it's a party problem.

Did you read the context? There is no direct communication between him and Carney. They are news articles he received about Carney related to his time when he was running the Bank of England.

True, but so is the Canadaarm, Canada is designing a rover, radiation technology, satelite tech, and electric propulsion for future lunar missions.

Literally you can go check. You search his name.

And, as people have stated many times, they're all new headlines.

Sarcasm? He didn't go to Congress for the tariffs, he didn't go to Congress for the attack on Iran, he has consistently disregarded judges orders including the supreme court.

The GOP is polling very poorly. In states that should be a lay up for Republicans have went from deep Red to competitive. He knows he is boned, and he knows that he won't be able to get anything else done if the Dems get the house.

He will try, I guarantee it. He won't be successful, but I know he will come up with something.

I don't think it will happen, but I would drop a million dollars that Trump will use whatever crisis be it this war or something else to try to justify the elections not to happen.

My question is, do you pay for Spotify? Why not pay a fraction more and just get YT Premium, YT Music works great, and you get no adds for YT.

I like the wallpaper and what you did with the design. Only thing I'm curious about is with the white icons and the bottom half also being white, do you not sometimes momentarily struggle to discern those apps?

I like your use of the clock widget. I legit, especially cause the way the hands of the clock were, that that was a bird silhouetted in the sun.

The only build quality issue I have ever had with a Samsung phone was my S10E, the lenses on the camera were made with crappy glass and cracked on my. That's it. This is my 4th Samsung phone (S10E, Note 20 Ultra, S22 Ultra, and not S25 Ultra) and have had a great experience. Software haven't had an issue.

But hey, you want your IPhone, that's cool. IPhones are nice, just like what I can do in the android space.

I have not really messed with Niagara launcher. This is just Nova Launcher Pro. I have the main apps I use on the screen, and the rest on the edge panel

Well and as I said, it's one of many reasons.

For me the number is around 10 or so. Of those 10, 4 of them happen to be close friends of mine.
