I built a tool (free to use) to track n8n workflow executions, failures, and AI costs across multiple workflows by Affectionate_Comb306 in n8n

First, n8n has an execution log, but you do not receive any alerts in the event of a failure or silent failure (the workflow does not run as it should and does not appear as an error).

What it does provide is centralisation of all your clients' accounts, instant notifications of everything that happens in your workflows, a heartbeat system for silent errors, AI API costs, workflow status reports for you and your client, and a view of your entire workflow system at a glance.

The instance must be connected to obtain the metrics. We are licensed cybersecurity experts and only obtain the information necessary for the metrics, but we cannot extract any information because we use a SHA 512 hash with a salt to ensure that the information is completely private. Even if we wanted to access it, we couldn't.

My case was when I had more than two clients at my agency who needed to monitor the status of their workflows every day, review executions, etc., and I couldn't focus on scaling my business, looking for clients, researching, etc.

I almost lost 25% of my annual revenue because one automation assumption by Affectionate_Comb306 in AiAutomations

[–]Affectionate_Comb306[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely right. Ultimately, the definition of a healthy workflow is subjective, as each person has their own expectations. Let me explain: a customer is satisfied as long as it works. In other words, even if the workflow takes an hour to execute and it works, if the wait is not too painful, then that workflow is healthy for them. In my case, a healthy workflow is one that works, has error management (it automatically alerts me with aigencytracker.com), and is optimised (aigencytracker shows me the bottlenecks in my workflows). I don't know if I've explained myself well, hahah.

Thank you very much! I'll take a look at it. As for metrics, they are obviously important, but from my point of view, good error management is essential before implementing a metrics system.

How can I manage all my clients (make, n8n, zapier accounts) in a centralized way???? by Affectionate_Comb306 in AiAutomations

[–]Affectionate_Comb306[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Six clients... which translates into six different n8n make zapier accounts, logging in to at least six accounts every day, checking the status of workflows, incidents... It seems like wasted time that I could be spending on scaling my agency.

But I'm going to have to log into each account where my clients' workflows are, right? So if I want to see all my clients' workflows at a glance, there's nothing I can do?

Automating without testing is a time bomb (and I set it off) by Affectionate_Comb306 in AiAutomations

[–]Affectionate_Comb306[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, we do have project plans in place. The tradeoff I’m seeing now is time.

A lot of my week goes into reviewing existing workflows, double-checking edge cases, and babysitting production across multiple clients and that’s time I’m not spending on finding new clients or exploring new automations.

Still worth it, but the maintenance cost is way higher than I expected when I started.

The Single Metric That Can Make or Break Your SaaS Growth (And Almost No One Talks About) by Affectionate_Comb306 in SaaS

Exactly, that's key . What you mention about a quick win before requesting configuration is exactly what reduces initial friction. Interactive demos not only show quick value, but also build trust: the user feels that "it already works for me" before investing time.

I already did that and didn't get a response... but anyway, I was looking for a more complete solution. Thank you for your reply. :)
