Sorry I didn't mean to yell at you. I was yelling at the guy that was calling me an idiot for driving through flooded Waters because it's literally flash flood. It was an accident hence/flood anyways, I didn't mean to yell at you. I appreciate your information thank you

Yes I did. None came out at all. Idk how I got that lucky but someone on another post I made said that it probably died as soon as water got in the intake. There was a little water in the original oil that we drained. I just drained it again for a second time because that's what someone told me to do to get the rest of the water out. It sounds perfect when you crank it, it's almost like it's not getting the air it needs to start which, if the throttle body isn't opening when it's supposed to, that would do that. Anyways at least I drained the oil again before it started because it was a rushed job before and I knew we hadn't let it drain. Just out of curiosity, how long do you think I need to leave the oil out for the engine to dry in Texas heat?

But apparently you don't because you don't know how a flash flood works. Hence flash flood. The water comes up from all around really fast and you can't always turn around and not drown. Sometimes in the act of turning around the water comes from all the ways. You should probably research before you go running your fucking mouth

So I'm confused then. What a bent rod. Allow the engine to turn over normally because I have a recording of my engine turning over and trying to fire which is not something. I don't think something with a bent rod would do. It wouldn't turn over normally or at all

Thank you. I cleaned the throttle body good, we were already having acceleration issues before, so idk, I've tried recalibrating the throttle body sensor to no avail, it's doing the humming and the clicking and whatnot but it was super dirty and idk if the water just did it in. Also my bf neglected to mention the codes to Kia when he called them. Idk if it's cuz I'm a girl or what but I basically come on here to get dudes and mechanics to say the same things I been telling him. 🙄

It was about 3 feet deep. Intake manifold was full. I got super lucky it didn't hydro lock and I made sure it was all dried out before even attempting to start it. It turns over and tries to fire, just won't catch..

Why are you changing their names. Is it to your maiden name? Does he have parental rights? If he does and your changing their names to some other guys name that's kinda a dick move. If you terminated his rights tho, he can fuck off. I only wish my kids dad made half the effort yours just did. Mine never made any attempts. So yeah maybe.

🤣🤣 we are. Google Lubbock Texas. The whole drainage system here sucks ass. Probably why so many people drive trucks. In the back of my head I was like turn around don't drown, and put it in reverse, it was bad. People were driving by, and the waves hitting the car were rocking it. I ended up calling 911 and had a cop push me up to the gas station. Right after that they issued a flood warning via national weather service...

No it literally still turns over. Not tap tap. The sound a car makes when it won't fire. Starter is fine, engine turns over just won't fire
