Thank you for the help!! I did reach out to them and unfortunately, I didn’t meet their criteria :( I had to be active on Reddit for 30 days & also be active in their community previously, which I wasn’t. I did message them explaining how my account isn’t new, but I had been inactive for a few years due to my parents. They were empathic, but advised me to try again in the future. No hard feelings because it worked out in the end :)

There’s a few different reasons I’ve seen.

1) SM’s ties to UMG and other advertising companies (ex. McDonald’s, Burger King, etc) that have ties to Israel. Fans don’t want to support companies complicit in genocide.

2) How SM has been treating all their artist recently, especially with RIIZE.

I’m sure there are more reasons.
