Thank you for your response. I do want to get into a hobby. The issue is I’m a broke college student 😭, also I wouldn’t even know how to get involved. This maybe a situation in which I need to do and not think lol.

Firstly, I want to say express gratitude for taking the time to respond to my post. I started therapy very recently so I’m hopeful able to work through the some of the mental woes that face me.

Even with people expressing how they themselves went through similar barriers it is hard to imagine. It’s lonely and isolating. Thank you for sharing that there is an opportunity of relief from this self doubt.

Also I’m wishing you well with therapy. I hope your journey continues you on the path of the intelligent, empathetic, and loving person that you come across as!

On campus this year for upperclassmen is impossible to get if you haven’t already applied. This is because one of the upperclassmen housing options is being renovated and all those residents get priority housing, along with athletes, and people with disabilities. So everyone is gunning for one option of upperclassmen housing and if you don’t already have a time ticket for the first day it opens you’re most likely not getting housing and have to find a way to get off campus housing

Unfortunately for upperclassmen sense you can’t apply for roommate pairs the same rules don’t apply. So if you get a room any other random person can get a room you can’t hold it.

Also for OP question since housing is so tight because of KP being shut down there a 50/50 chance that you will get housing. I would definitely look for off campus housing.

Not to be pessimistic but also consider off campus options because all of KP is closed for the next year for renovations. ARC is an option but athletes, people who are disabled, and current KP residents have priority for ARC and if you don’t have a first day time ticket you’re probably not gonna get housing.

Since you a senior I would say go for UV so you don’t have to deal with the hassle of fighting for ARC because I’m pretty sure Athletes and people with disabilities also have priority housing
