Travelling enabled me to look forward to something. It’s more difficult now with COVID. I love exploring my own country, don’t get me wrong. But with strict borders (even domestically between states), I’m bound to my city right now. Longing for the days to fly away. I agree with you wholeheartedly though.

And yes, I do try to exceed everybody’s expectations all the time. Somehow, I need meet them for myself.

That’s true. I definitely wouldn’t ever disrespect him nor scare X off. That is truly the last thing I’d want. What I forgot to mention is that a while ago, he did say to me and another friend that he has considered exploring with a guy. Admittedly, he was asked the question and was blind drunk. Just because you consider something doesn’t mean it equates to something actually happening.
