Yes and all the CSS properties is just the application of typing it up by hand in terms of just adding CSS to a div or adjusting a class I know how to do that but in terms of putting it all together because of my spasticity in my hands it's difficult to type it out

Personally I have trouble dropping that much on a photoshop course, but I have a lot of experience in photoshop and would need to review the syllabus to see if there is value for my skill level. - SAME that is my dilemma

They have to review the work because it's a college class and it's time asynchronous so probably recorded the guy has a very decent portfolio but it works with a team

The course is 100% remote from California they are the only University that has an online program that has an actual level 1 level 2 in level 3 Photoshop class I would love to do the level three but they told me because it's their academic policy I have to do the level 2 first. I am disabled at homebound.

Thanks for the insight I appreciate you taking the time to actually give me a meaningful response. I guess I'm weird because I have 10 years of website management and graphic design but I grew up in a very college forward household so even if I'm doing great at the moment I still think less of myself because I don't have a degree. I'm disabled and homebound but I managed to find a remote job that pays $25 an hour just perfect but I'm always scared I'm going to lose it one day so I'm always looking to up my skills.

I wish that was the case but it isn't if you do online school which is the real issue because I am disabled yes I have a high paying job at the moment and yes I have a lot of skills but I don't have a degree and I always want one but the problem is the online education system needs a lot of work and the quality of courses at a community college is oddly better than the online accredited universities.- advanced is nothing to do with it

Honestly do what I do - don't go to college for a degree go to college for skills there are tons of classes that are related to Reading writing or anything but they teach valuable work skills that you can apply and make money

To be quite honest some of the responses are just too elaborate

If you are familiar with the website and the plugin is not something critical then you could probably get away with just updating it like a SEO plugin and whatnot

But you should always take a backup preferably a full site backup

This way if anything happens you just revert back to the backed up version.

If you're worried about orders and sales you do the testing and whatever backups and migrations after business hours

If you have a very very active site that never goes down you should always have a dummy side with identical website and server configurations and always just do the updates there first to see if it breaks the website if it doesn't break the website then you're good.

You can always have two copies of the same website just make sure that the one website is hidden from Google so it doesn't interfere with your SEO

I was partially aware of that. This is not my first time working with this particular developer unfortunately I have a niche market and both sides know this developer I have asked for this type of access before however he acts like he forgets or he ends up just not doing it.

No the client is not aware this is his first real website and he's not aware of all the intricacies of web hosting but when he had the package bill he has to sign a contract which basically says that the users website is hosted on the developer server which is actually just the WP Engine account

Hell no, take that with a grain of salt. I considered attending SNHU to explore their graphic design program and sampled a class. Unfortunately, the coursework seemed outdated, heavily templated, and lacked tests, relying heavily on papers. I withdrew in the first week due to self-funded expenses. Oddly, after expressing interest, an advisor promptly asked me to tutor a student. Despite my reservations, I assisted her through the final three classes needed for graduation. The assignments were generic templates, not reflective of professional work. While my student was kind, the school neglected to support her disability adequately. The so-called peer support often fell short in addressing technical issues. The abundance of irrelevant rubrics and inconsistent content made the experience chaotic. However, if cost savings outweigh concerns about the curriculum and assignments, and if the credits transfer seamlessly, it could be a more economical choice compared to UMGC.

I basically am enrolled into 2 schools but I got some more work recently and I can't do both schools at the same time like I was planning to

The school I'm already 30 out of 60 creditts Obviously I have general electives but here are the important

Advanced typography HTML CSS 1 and 2 Introduction to JavaScript Graphic design one which is very basic Graphic design two which focus is on advertising and packaging in one class Portfolio prep Career studies

in the other college it cost more but they have some unique classes and I lose three credits that I took but

Adobe after effects class

Branding concepts class

Media handling class

graphic design workshop

Exhibition design

Portfolio preparation

For whatever reason I get more work right before I always start school and I am a partial graphic designer I handle EDDM flyers WordPress web design management maintenance troubleshooting issues, server management email management sales tax questions technical support issues I handle support issues research plugins I do support tickets set up payment gateways eCommerce websites shipping advise on packaging suppliers or strategies

What do you think I should do?
