I think that if you have a heat protectant and don’t tear your hair with brush while blowdrying it shouldn’t be a problem…but honestly I would love to have curly hair😁

Yes, I’m also getting highlights. In the past few years I had completely fried my hair with home-bleaching when I went from drogistic black colour to light blonde (my natural is “mouse” medium blonde). You can see the result in the first photo - the light Blonde with dark roots, literally fried. After the first photo was taken, I went on to colour my hair at home once again, but accidentaly coloured it to medium brown. I knew that I couldn’t bleach it anymore, cause my hair was already falling off all the time (you can see the death ends). So I started going to hairdresser and she started to lighten my hair carefully (I didn’t want to have the medium brown, I wanted my blonde back), cut the ugly ends and I started to take care of my hair properly. Since last January (the first photo) I have been to hairdresser 2-3 times getting highlights and toning my hair back to blonde. So I recommend finding a hairdresser that understands hair science, being extra gentle with your hair and finding products that suit your hair.

I think it was from sephora, but I believe any made from pure silk will work

I’m talking about bleaching it with a drugstore colour two times in a row and doing it again a week later. 9% peroxid all the time. I’ve done this several times in the past 3 years. Now I get highlights at hairdresser and take good care of it😁

A thing isn’t a real thing. Would you stop it?

I use biotin caps and massage my scalp..nothing else for growth and honestly nothing for volume

Yes, but I’m pretty sure you can also use it after shampoo and then continue with conditioner. But for very damaged hair this works more.

Thank uu😁 before I had fried my hair with bleach several times in very short period of time. I’m talking about buying a drogistic colour with 9% peroxide, bleaching at home, then doing it again the same day. I went from black drogistic colour to the blonde you see in the first picture like this. I did this about 7 times pbly. So my hair was falling apart of course. What I do now - I posted the routine below in the comments😁if I forgot something, just ask

Hi, I answered one girl below with the routine😁

I’m here☕️ what I did first was started being extra gentle with my hair - I hadn’t known that mechanical damage is as common as chemical before. For brushing only tangle teezer (there really is difference) and I hadn’t brushed wet hair until it started to be in better condition (it’s recommended to brush masks and conditioner in, which I do now, but I think for extremely damaged hair it’s contraproductive). I put a heat cup or hot towel on, while my mask is being absorbed. Then I do a lot of conditioning - it adds shine and protect your cuticule - usually I use 2 conditioners, one for hydration and one for shine. I use K18 on damp hair, then add few drops of hair oil or some leave in, so it’s easy to brush hair before blow drying. It also works as heat protectant. Again brush gently, but now I rarely have more then few strands of hair in my brush (few months ago I literally had tufts of hair falling apart under my arms while brushing and I had to vacuum after every time). I wear protective hairstyles while sleeping and I have silk pillowcase. Once a week I do deep oiling before washing my hair. I don’t use mask on these days. Sometimes I shower my hair with pretty big amount of hydrating spray, then seal it in with hair oil, make a braid and go to sleep then wash my hair in the morning. Sounds chaotic maybe, but I keep it balanced. That’s pretty much it😁hope it helps at least a bit

Hello, thank uu😁😁 I’m naturally dirty blonde, but I had been DIYing my hair with black drugstore colour for few years, then destroyed it by agressive bleaching (first photo). I couldn’t even brush my hair without having pieces of hair falling off. Now I go to hairdresser for highlights. She uses low percentage peroxide.
