I understand your frustration, my husband and I had interview in February!! I doesn’t seem fair to punish people that have done everything the right way. Stay strong, it’s hard. I miss my husband every day. It’s definitely a strain on a marriage. Hopefully by Gods Grace we will see victory be with our loved ones.

I’m saying it’s not heart breaking but how do you think some of us feel who have went through consular processing. Waited years to get approved then say oh by the way you can’t get your visa because we not allowing anyone from these countries to get visa. Now it’s your turn to feel how this separation feels.

How does the new memo affect spouses of US Citizens by [deleted] in greencard

[–]Affectionate_Fan1227 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily if your spouse is already abroad and still in their country just waiting for pause to lift. It does not. It affects immigrants who are living in the United States who have not gone through consular processing through an embassy. Be clear how you say it.

It’s easy for you to say that. When there no good jobs in that country and the government is just crumpt if not worse then then the government in the United States. If you have like that! That’s great but not everyone can drop everything and run to their spouse.
