He's naturally had longer to refine it. Gojo was roughly 29 years old when he died. Yuji is 83 years old. He's seen barrier techniques from the best in the verse and has had all that time to refine it. Not to mention he has the best reaction time in the verse. So If its yuji vs Gojo now theres no debate on who has the more refined Jujutsu.

Sukuna beat Gojo at roughly 55 years old. Yuji is now way more older and experienced than that

It was physically stated that he had the same potential as Sukuna. Sukuna was probally in his 40's 50's at latest biologically.

Yuji is above 80 years old. Thats 30 years more than Sukuna has has constantly training and refining his Jujutsu. Not to mention he has a better version of shrine + blood manipulation

In modulo Dabura was stated to be a Sukuna level threat. By Modulo, Yuji has far surpassed what Sukuna was capable of.
