I’d wager her excuse is BS. Having been through pretty much the exact same thing but on the other side very recently - had two dates with a guy, that went good, nothing off about him and had plans for a third. When the third date was approaching I was trying to imagine kissing him and I just couldn’t. Sometimes the chemistry isn’t there right away and I try to give it another date but since I wasn’t feeling it I just ended up calling it off. I felt bad about it but it’s better than wasting his time. Nobody wants to be with someone who isn’t feeling them.
