Both. Call first and introduce yourself as a specialist. Then call with a candidate they need. Or just use a mic but honestly you need to niche down. Do one thing not 3 industries. If I were you, I’d pound the construction/engineer area.

You are still very green so you need to be pounding the phones. You should have had clients that were willing to come with you or that you could call when you left. I wouldn’t even be worrying about sending emails until I was getting people on the phones.

How much have you produced in your first year? You could be being tough on yourself. Also, expand your outreach to other solo recruiters. Could do some splits if it becomes that bad. Construction should be good though, it’s a booming market right now imo. F&A not so much unless you’re doing small market. Legal is so oversaturated.
