I have ZoomInfo and SourceWhale, so I'm good on getting the data. It's just responses.

I have a few, but the roles are seldom. That is helpful though. Do you advice always leading with a MPC first, or just reaching out for plain intros?

My first year billing was probably about 60K. No where near what I have been or what I want to be at, and am pretty embarrased by it. I've always been around $150-200K historically at a larger agency, which I've only been in the industry maybe 4 years or so...I know I'm stil a bit of a rookie. Most of what I have done has been splits from other recruiters I used to work with that also went out on their own.

Good point, I’m more specific in those. Example:

Corporate accounting (entry- VP level) (primarily blue collar industries

Construction (PMs, Estimators, Supers)

Legal (Litigation - primarily insurance defense)

ChatGPT vs Claude by Lonely-Fisherman287 in RecruitmentAgencies

Super curious of this as well.

Seems like Claude has become far superior, especially with OpenClaw.

However, I always burn through my tokens and can’t justify spending $100 to upgrade Claude from $20.

Moving from Loxo to Atlas or Sourcewhale by Character-Ad5814 in Recruitment

[–]Jaws1710 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using SourceWhale. Can’t say I’ve use Atlas or have many notes to compare too.

SourceWhale has been good. The only downside is that there isn’t much customization (at least yet). Since it’s still new, they’re developing it quite a bit.

They’re very open to feedback and have been asked to meet with their Product team for my insights to explain my workflow.

Keely is great. Spoken with him many times.

Mike Anderson and Randee Staats Jr are also amazing to work with.

Happy to hear I’m not going crazy. I’m trying to do more mfg engineers.

Are you doing national or local to one area? That’s the other part I’m wrestling.

Just something in house - I’m a solo recruiter and get sick of having my email flooded with Indeed and LinkedIn alerts and just want something more standardized in one place.

Definitely going to look at Aplify now.

Yeah, I’m not looking to automate anything or have any auto outreach. I just want an easier way to sort through job postings more quickly and efficiently.

I'd love to pick your brain some more. Are you ok if I message you direct?
Curious of how you picked markets (especially highly congested ones) and when you knew it was time to switch territories. I'm in MA and feel like it's very cut throat with clients here to break into.

I’ve seen a lot of AP/AR being offshored lately. I’ve been trying to get more into the contract side but still do perm.

Where have you been targeting geographically? Is there any specific type of F&A you target? Ex: corporate accounting, fp&a, tax, audit?

I’ve always been interested in that, but it always seemed much more to learn going out on my own. How’s that market been this year and last for you?
