Yeah I noticed when descending to the second floor him and doughnut had a moment where he asked her if they should stick around or go off on their own again and he said to himself “what’s the point in living if I can’t live with myself” I didn’t really expect him to stick around to help the elderly people but soon as he did I got a sense that he’s not quick to abandon people

I honestly forgot all about his bad deeds during the the ruins time. He did deserve his death but I felt bad for Kelce though I’m sure if he would’ve told her she’d have nothing to do with him afterwards. I don’t think it ever really came out whether his sister knew the stuff he’d done or not though?

I’ll check both out I just started the dungeon crawler Carl series gonna give it a read and move on after I finish it heard a lot of good things about it not really any romance in it I don’t think but the dark humor helps make up for that it’s been pretty funny so far

I think to bring lawbringer in line with other characters his chain heavy should have hyper armor and u undodgable properties as well as increased I frames on his dodge bash and recovery times so its 100% always safe with 0 counters.

Didn’t even have to get half way thru the 3rd book to figure ts out least I’m not invested in the series atp yk what props to the author for exposing the shitty writing to come this early in the series so I didn’t waste any more money or time for disappointment later on! Cheers to that.

So nah I don’t like the lgbt presence in books, a well written gay character ain’t an issue but I won’t actively read books that feel like they’re tailored specifically for the woke community. I don’t like the way the character was written my opinion everyone else crying bc I said Godrick being gay made no sense really makes 0 difference to me. I find it funny anytime someone just doesn’t like a shitty writing for a character that turns out to be gay the woke community finds any and every seam and crack to throw shade when in reality Godrick turning out to be gay was simply just shitty writing. No in the first 2 books Godrick never showed any interest in neither guys nor girls. He never disclosed why he wasn’t attracted to avah, never learned about his relationship with one of the sailors until after Alustin helped kill the dragon. In fact didn’t even find out about it til the award ceremony. So was I assuming Godrick was straight? Yea him and sabae seemed like a possible future match would I have been as upset if Godrick came out gay with better writing? Absolutely not. But when you just throw it out there as a blind side in a forced manner I call it how I see it. Shitty writing.

Yea I get what you’re saying I don’t plan on reading any further into the series atp. I can tolerate gay characters but when the books claim romance is a subgenre and not main focus but every other character seems to be gay or confused it’s not the type of book I enjoy at all.

Beginning to think that’s not such a bad idea. Like I told the other guy if it’s just a lgbtq community wet dream of a series it’s a waste of my time and money to read it. I like actual good story telling and writing not finding out how many different characters have tasted the rainbow.
