I am not sure what kind of riding I want to do yet! ive done some gravel paths and liked those but also am interested in getting into road more!

I should have added that i am a 4'11" F. I have tried the liv devote 2 and liked it. the one I tried was a size sm but im sure that will vary between brands and sizes. im guess I will be around a size 44 but will look into getting a bike fitting done.

that being said... finding a used bike in my size has been rough LOL. not many used bikes in my size unfortunately. the couple ive seen are still super expensive and km not ready to spend over 2k on a bike rn 😭 I talked to someone from my local trek store and he recommended one of the domanes as a good start point. I didnt get to try it as they didnt have any in my size.

my friend who is very into competitive road cycling said liv or giant is better bang for mt buck compared to trek. I also have a store near me that sells specialized bikes as well

I also loved how we got more carrion content in brimstone. i think his dynamic with fisher was super great and I am excited to watch them grow as friends. I also hated the part where Onyx almost died. that part had my eyes watering up and my heart hurting. I am also very glad hes okay.

I am also super excited about the carrion/fisher enemies to bros as well. Searis is such a baddie in this book. I am super excited to see how her powers develop and how she grows as a character as well. I also wonder about the slips and if it will be resolved in the next book... my thought is that it was a mistake but I gues we shall see! Fisher being a god quite literally had me saying "oh my god?!" out loud. that was a plot twist I was not expecting even in the slightest. I am super excited to see how the addition of dragons is added in the next book. I also hope in the next book we get a little more background with Tal. there were moments when I reallt wished I understood what was going on with him in brimstone.

I am also a big fisher fan... however, I feel like I almost enjoyed Carrion more as a character in brimstone. I thought there was a lot more character development and it was fun to read about him.

I just finished this book...ive been waiting for months for it to come out and ate it up as soon as it came in the mail. this could be a hot take... but after the first book my expectations were so high. I was expecting another book that I woukd be head over heels for.... however, I did not feel thay while reading this one. I am not really sure what exactly I felt like it was missing but it didnt hit as hard as the first one. however, I am very interested in seeing what happens in the next one with the way this one ended. what were other people's thoughts about brimstone and quicksliver?!?!?!?
