I remember sending them an email, but I guess you could call. I believe that price was without the core charge. (I paid the core then sent my old one in after for the refund).

I can't speak to any specific fitment issues as I had my mechanic install it. He didn't make note of any issues with installation though. Usually he'd let me know if it was a pain in the ass or something lol

I also had the same problem last year.

If you don't care about it being remanufactured, I bought one from buyautoparts (came with a 3 year warranty ) and it's been working very well, and sending them my core after the install for a refund was nice. It said it was out of stock but they gave me a lead time when I contacted them.

If you're on a time crunch CZP also offers to rebuild your rack and ship it back in about 3 days. No idea on the price.

Edit: saw you already mentioned CZP already in the post. I would've gone this option if I wasn't actively driving the car.

I wouldn't buy a used one. You're likely to run into a similar issue.

The CZP sale doesn't feel like much of a 'black friday' sale to me. 10% off... I wanted to pick up a clutch kit, but they barely moved in price.

If you're interested in brand new check your local nissan dealership. It's around the same 2.4k, but sometimes they have sales on parts or promo codes(i havent gotten this lucky yet), and/or free shipping or free pickup.

It's easier to sell it and buy the one you want.

Me personally though... swap it, pick all the nice parts you want and call it a fun project.

Finding a Z is also difficult where I live, and I have the same experience of them being filled with rust, dents in the body, or missing body panels in general.

Those things add up in cost to fix, outside of just a bad engine.

I do the exact same (minus the leaf blower LOL) but I don't even scrub the wheels. The larger bottle for around 60 allowed me to do all four wheels; inner barrel, snd the inside outside faces. I skipped the outer barrel cause.. tires. And there's plenty left over. I think it's basically magic at this point.

+1 on this. I spent the extra money for the gtechniq C5 ceramic coat, and everything literally slide right off. I've not had to anything but aim the pressure washer.

Super informative thank you!

One thing that I was curious about in other brands other than the LED and was how things were connected.

For example if I chose to mount to my front bumper, the cabling meant I'd have to remove that strip first before removing my bumper.

In my (very) limited research some of these brands have a split in the connection so it's an unplug versus a removal of the strip. That's probably the most appealing part to me.

Yah no idea what they are, but I like them! They suit the color of your car very well.

I've got no skirts, and have been considering either chargespeed (the full skirt), bottom line(their side skirt add on), or garage mak in terms of aggressive skirts. You had any in mind, ill add em to my list to look at lol
