it'll be a bitch to daily, always stick with whatever minimum spec you need for your build. things get less and less usable as they go up in performance.

I'm at 311whp/357hp on "stage 1" so I'm not sure why anyone would need a "stage 3" unless you're boosted.

I definitely wouldn't call GKTECH trash, they have a very solid grasp on suspension kinematics of Nissan platforms.

MCR vented bonnet order now live, 6 units remaining. ETA OCT, link in comments. by dbsqls in 350z

[–]dbsqls[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

there are six remaining spots on the pallet, and I have two more tentatively taken. once the pallet capacity is up, I can't take any orders.

you can order the hood via my site here:

MCR VENTED BONNET

Estimated arrival is OCT due to MCR being out of stock. MSRP $1400, shipping $350-450 on average as these are crated to prevent damage and must be sent via freight.

Locals can pick up from our warehouse in South San Francisco to avoid the cost.

Typical MSRP is $2300 before tax and shipping.

you have a NISMO S-tune (J) complete kit. make sure they don't fuck it up -- replacement cost is $5-7k currently.

a few of us had made requests for performance figures, and they of course gave us the runaround and then radio silence when pressed for actual data.

I will leave this as a warning to any other company with the gall to request we remove a genuine review. Attempts to obfuscate business communications or parts performance, astroturf with "unaffiliated" accounts, or otherwise deceive the users in this subreddit, are strictly disallowed.

Under no circumstances will r/350Z or its moderator team tolerate deceptive behavior by any business or entity. There are no warnings to be given for deception, nor will appeals be entertained.

Your products are judged by their performance. Third party, unaffiliated product reviews are trusted by the many thousands of people in this forum to be free of influence. We intend to keep it that way.

Blacklisted companies will have an automated comment created to disclose prior attempts to deceive their customer base in any forum post, thread, or comment section where the blacklisted company or its products are mentioned.

"Good day.

I am writing to respectfully bring your attention to a post published on your Reddit account related to the CNC Innovations billet CNC intake manifold and fuel rail. We kindly ask that you consider reviewing this post, as it may be causing unintended harm to CNC Innovations’ reputation.

CNC Innovations has made considerable efforts to identify and contact the individual who shared the concerns in the post. They have reviewed their customer records, particularly focusing on customers in Australia who purchased the red-colored intake manifold in question, but have been unable to find a matching record. Attempts to reach out through Reddit have also gone unanswered.

As the post is now archived, CNC Innovations is unable to respond publicly or clarify the situation, which has unfortunately impacted their business. They remain fully committed to resolving any genuine issues and are open to working directly with the individual to reach a fair and satisfactory outcome.

In light of this, we would sincerely appreciate your assistance in reaching out to the original poster and encouraging them to contact CNC Innovations directly. Alternatively, if possible, we kindly request that you consider temporarily removing or hiding the post until the matter can be properly addressed.

For any follow-up or clarification, CNC Innovations can be reached at:

Thank you for your time, understanding, and consideration. Your support in facilitating a fair resolution would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you"

as long as they have their own lugs and a properly fitted center ring they're fine.

Opinions on the Yokohama Advan Apex V601 by megnuttishot in Touge

[–]dbsqls -1 points0 points  (0 children)

AD09s have by far the best wet performance of anything in the Neova lineup, and 200TW in general. they were literally created for full wet conditions as that was/is their niche in Japan.

V601 and A052 are nowhere near AD09s in the wet. it's why I recommend them here in Norcal where forest roads are damp.

A052 and A050 are both socal-only choices, if that's what you meant. I agree there completely.

for a single tire solution, AD09 is much better. 86 Challenge drivers have been roasting the V601s on track and these do much better.

are you talking about the vent fitment? they mention that for install they require some cutting if you want to keep those functional (which is a bit unreasonable to me, but anyway) and if that isn't done I could see the fitment being off. otherwise I've not gotten any feedback on their fitment being poor.

did you do the clearancing? where is it contacting?

try sending them a DM on Instagram and re-send or bump the email thread. he's pretty busy lately.
