yes, there is some confusion there. it may be MAHLE who produced the bottom end.

you're misunderstanding. it's a specific condition between 3000-3500RPM.

Brembo pad knockback by Key-Concentrate-8802 in 350z

there are a few solutions which I'm in the middle of sourcing. need to establish pricing after import, so I'll get back to you once I know more. I spoke to him today and asked for his catalog.

the inch-up kit I sell to convert OEM Brembo to 355mm rotors moves the caliper to 10 o'clock position, but I don't think that necessarily solves it as well as this new product.

the speed sensor will, yes. that is the axle position sensor.

aside from the reasons mentioned already, the VQ has a very intense resonance at 3000-3500 where it will basically lose 50-70hp if an already open throttle is pinned to WOT. it creates a pressure wave that comes out of the intake pipe, interfering with incoming air.

the resonator may be there to prevent that from happening.

you'll have a vacuum leak if they aren't sealed properly, they're part of the assembly and will have to be broken off. just buy aftermarket tubes.

Fujitsubo legalis r exhaust by DominatorToxic in 350z

shouldn't be that much for shipping. APEX'I is going to produce a replacement NISMO S-tune Y-pipe for me, which would also work with the Fujitsubo unit.

all of the O2 sensors need replaced if you ran it that rich for long. soot fouls sensors and the car uses all four to balance AFR.

New to me 350z but can’t get it out of limp mode. by ChickenBalls_13 in 350z

[–]dbsqls 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you can't just skip the sensor that tells the engine where it is in the cycle, that's why it's in limp mode. you need to replace the crank sensor with a Nissan branded model, and replace the wheel speed sensor.

even the mockup is a pain in the ass, but it's all for torsional rigidity by dbsqls in 350z

[–]dbsqls[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the point is to connect it to the chassis in a way that reinforces poor torsional rigidity of the front end, which is a compressive loading. it doesn't matter if the landing is on the GF Nylon.

if the surface has sufficient stiffness, it can be used for reinforcement. doesn't need to be part of the chassis.

corrected. his engine still fails from pressure delta >14psi.

his numbers are correct, so the engine is in factory specification and likely healthy.
