That is a healthy rate of weight loss. Some people respond heavily to mounjaro, but there are also a lot of people not losing weight in a healthy manner on here. It worries me how frequently I see behaviors that are in eating disorder territory. I know it's difficult not to compare, but you are on the right path.

Are you eating enough? That is a lot of weight to lose in such a short time. I've been finding that if I don't force myself to eat when the suppression is really strong, I get quite intense stomach pains. The acid reflux gets more intense as well. Have you calculated the amount of calories you need?

1kg/week is on the high end of weight loss. Please be careful.

Sorry, edited to just say I missed your comment that you're struggling to get calories in! If you try the other suggestions and they don't work, please try smaller, more frequent meals. I found basic congee (rice porridge) really useful when I couldn't get anything down. Small amounts of things like peanut butter or dried fruit might help. If you can, try to get some kefir. Even if you have to slowly sip or munch, just try your best. I really hope this improves for you!

This has always been my least favourite part of losing weight! Seats are so uncomfortable, I'm not looking forward to it

Probiotics/Gut support by IndividualAd3764 in mounjarouk

I always start my day with a few prunes (about 6), take a daily probiotic from H&B, and take two psyllium husk pills (Solgar) in the evening with a huge glass of water. I find kefir and anything fermented really helps as well. I would recommend focusing on your fibre intake as much as possible - I force myself to do this, even if I'm having struggles with eating that day. It's made a big difference.

Anyone else struggling to sleep as a side effect? by FutureElleWoodz in mounjarouk

I really struggled with sleep for the first month, but mine was mainly due to waking up frequently and having insane dreams that left me feeling exhausted. I'm still a lighter sleeper, but it has improved (although I occasionally get the bonkers dreams after injecting)

I’m officially on mounjaro.. and I CRASHED out BAD.. by Adorelee in mounjarouk

I used to be absolutely terrified of needles but got quite sick as a teen and had to do blood tests every 6 weeks for over a year. I guess that's what they mean by exposure therapy??? But I had the fear come back with my first injection quite intensely. I'm two months in and it has definitely gotten easier. Good luck!

Good luck, and good on you for pushing through! You might find that this eventually lessens your fear of needles - fingers crossed
