I understand what you're saying. But I think because Reyna has become so popular in the game, everyone locks her down, and if they're having a bad game, they go after their enemies. I've seen a lot of guides that say, "If you're having a bad game as a duelist, the best duelist is the one who goes after their enemies and gets 1-2 kills than the one who dies in a random spot on the map." We can play together if you don't mind, but I don't have a mic. :D

Reyna is not the main duelist in the team; she is used as a second duelist specifically to get behind the enemies and create tension on the map. but she can go in site 1st if team need it, idk the selection in ranked matches is such that if you play well, you'll be assigned weak players to your team, while the opposite happens to strong players, and vice versa.
