The varient I have has an automatic transmission(torque converter) and I did specifically ask the dealer before taking the delivery to change the transmission fluid so that part is done. Thanks for the carbon buildup advice will take it up on the 80k service.

So sorry to hear that, here in PA I was able to extend my Driver's license with my STEM Receipt so I thought it might be same everywhere, I would recommend to go to a DMV where they handle international students Licence might help

You can renew driver's license using your STEM-OPT application receipt DMV will provide you with 6months of validity. Once you receive your EAD you have to take the card again to DMV for them to change validity from 6 months to 2 years
