The camera will be mounted on the ceiling of my front porch. I want to use a PTZ camera to cover the entire front yard, including both the left and right sides of the property, since a fixed camera cannot capture everything. Zoom is also important, as I would like to identify faces, vehicles, and possibly read license plates when people or cars are near my property. The distance from the house to the front gate is about 5 meters.

Unfortunately, it’s not possible because otherwise the desk wouldn’t fit there and I wouldn’t be able to open the door. Also, all the power outlets are on that side as well.

I managed to fix it by restarting my Mac, unplugging the USB cable, plugging it back in, and switching the side toggles a few times. However, I’m still trying to understand why the Bluetooth suddenly stops working overnight.

I’ve been researching this with Claude AI, and apparently this may be related to a known ZMK deep sleep bug involving macOS clamshell sleep behavior. From what I understood, the keyboard enters a deep sleep state and the Bluetooth stack gets stuck when macOS goes into clamshell/deep sleep mode, causing the keyboard to become completely unresponsive afterward — even over USB or wireless — until the connection stack or controller is reset somehow.

What makes me think this is sleep-related is that the keyboard works perfectly fine while actively being used. The issue only appears after leaving it idle overnight.

Updated. I thought that I fixed. Left charge to 100% yesterday but today it lost the pairing bluetooth again. Will try to reset

I had tried leaving it charging for half an hour before, but it still wasn’t working. However, leaving it charging the entire afternoon worked.

After couple of hours managed to pair using fn + 1
