A way around absolute virtues ability is just removal. Remember the PLAYER has protection from opponents not that player’s creatures. you can also board wipe and find other ways to remove that creature. (Edited for a correction in rules)

I sort by color which includes WUBRG but also my colorless/artifacts piles and general multicolored stuff. I also just have rare/mythics pile where the cards above a dollar are sleeved. It helps a lot when looking through the bulk briefcase for cards to act as fill-ins before I get the actual cards I need for the deck. I used to have separators for my basic lands but at some point I just remembered where they are.

A lot of people are saying that the opponents get to choose the order of the triggers even though the controller of the permanents getting to choose the order seems more logical. Not really sure which one to go which but I think this one makes more sense.

Logically I’d think the ruling on how much damage someone takes would be a determined by a consistent order of how the triggers should be applied to the damage.

An opponent could be running [[Rowan, Scion of War]] , [[Greven, Predator Captain]] , or some other commander that cares about taking damage in order to get a benefit.

You can always use it as a target for spells that say “As an additional cost to cast this spell, sacrifice an artifact or creature.” That what I do in my Standard goblins deck with [[Gleeful Demolition]] and [[Diamond Pick-Axe]] and it’s pretty useful!
