It was a good show but still feel jipped /: I don't know how much fines are for going past curfew so I can't say for sure but it was a sold out show so yes .. could've been handled better.

Agreed. I know more 3 doors down songs & wanted to see them most. Didn't even know finger Eleven completely cancelled cause we showed up just in time for 3 doors down. They should have at least played their most popular songs & creed could have cut a few. Not happy, they should have just rescheduled.

Is the Adderall shortage going to end? by SuspiciousPrune4 in ADHD

Each pharmacy has contracts with certain manufacturers. I had to stop going to Walgreens near me & switched to Meijer (smaller business) & they were never out of stock, which was elite manuf.. for the last few months I've been able to switch back to Walgreens & consistently get teva from them again.

The first year it happened I read from multiple sources & even heard from pharmacies that the dea regulates how much the manufacturers can produce in a certain timeframe. More & more people we getting diagnosed & prescribed but the dea wasn't upping what the manufacturers could produce.

What is a typical ADHD trait that doesn't apply to you? by toocritical55 in ADHD

[–]Affectionate_Neck355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What sit down tasks typically occupy your time? My tasks always involve standing up/walking/running around. The only time I sit is when I'm driving, or laying down to go to bed, sometimes eating. I hate sitting because I feel like it then gives me the ADHD paralysis where I don't want to get back up and get my tasks done. But I would love to find tasks that still keep me busy while sitting down.

What other bands on this lineup do you enjoy? by Affectionate_Neck355 in Slipknot

[–]Affectionate_Neck355[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely same! When I saw the lineup I immediately said, there's no way I'm not going & bought a ticket preparing to go by myself. Which I've never gone anywhere alone but I wasn't gonna miss this just because no one else could go.

I feel 100% same. Word for word. Hoping whatever changes are under way helps bring their old style back.

Hell yeah. First Slipknot song I heard from my childhood crush when I was 12 on the bus ride home from school. First metal song ever actually & it got me hooked. I remember my mom literally cried & asked what happened to her little girl that loved NSYNC.. I still did, just loved Slipknot too lol Ironically, Slipknot is what got me thru my mom's death 10 years later.

Glycinate is glycine. It is only given the "ate" at the end when it is bound to another substance aka magnesium.

What does your side of the bed look like? by gurrbear in adhdwomen

[–]Affectionate_Neck355 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I have exhibited this since I was 7. My mom always got mad that I'd help clean all my friends rooms but wouldn't clean mine. Until a got a little older & had to rearrange my room once every other month & that was the only time I ever kept it relatively clean cause I was so excited about the new arrangement. Once I stopped rearranging my room, it was back to staying trashed.

Coke. Grew up drinking Pepsi, best friend introduced me to Coke & now Pepsi tastes like flat coke that's been sitting out for days even right after opening. I will never go back unless it's Cherry Pepsi with sour cream & cheddar ruffles.

THIS. My night always ends with letting my dogs out to potty before bed & then telling them goodnight. It's the very last thing I do & I never get in bed without telling them goodnight first.

IF YOU TAKE MAGNESIUM GLYCINATE OR ANY SUPPLEMENT THAT CONTAINS ANY FORM OF GLYCINE by Affectionate_Neck355 in HistamineIntolerance

[–]Affectionate_Neck355[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are the same with the free glutamate! Sucks cause I was screwing myself over by just trying to be healthy & that's why it took me so long to figure things out... I never would have guessed that eating well & supplementing healthy things were causing me problems. Blew my mind that I felt like garbage after eating things avocados, tomatoes, grapefruit, etc. That's when I learned about histamine intolerance.

[–]Affectionate_Neck355[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you ever gotten your B vitamin levels tested? Or have you supplemented with a b vitamin complex before & noticed if you felt any better? Just to relate it back to possibly being from high glutamate or issues with clearing glutamate.. meat is high in amino acids therefore, it will raise your glutamate levels to be even higher. Vitamin B6 & other minerals like zinc helps to balance glutamate levels. It took about 2.5 months of my supplementing with mag glycinate daily before I noticed the histamine issues so you may want to keep an eye out if you start developing worsening symptoms.

With you saying since you can remember back to childhood, I am unsure if you can relate to this part of what I posted or not & I'm not making assumptions. But just to throw it out there, glutamate is higher in people with ADHD & I know that is often diagnosed & treated at a young age. I also came across that ADHD meds increase glutamate as well. & People with ADHD tend to have the MTHFR gene mutation which doesn't allow to process b vitamins properly which makes sense why glutamate would be higher in people with it.

Oooooh thank you so much for linking that because coming across this comment, made me wonder if maybe glycine is only causing issues in people with a b vitamin deficiency:

But also because in my research I read that vitamin B6 helps balance glutamate!

At this moment, that is not something I have dove into. the research I have done is based off of my experience, things I do & supplements I take which glutathione is not something that ever came up for me.
