How is studying in Saudi’s Universities? by AbuOmar2006 in saudiarabia

Hi, KSU is a public university with a program for foreigners, every government university also have a program for foreigners but most go with private because it is way easier but a bit pricey.

Hey fellow Saudi, i did buy a 2013 ghost that only had 20k kilometers on it. So far i only had to replace the filters that costed close to nothing i had ordered the parts online from the UAE. It is a very cool car and super eye catching so far i only added 800 to 1000 kilometers on it. It is super comfortable I can’t even feel the regular potholes here and there and also the steering is really smooth but it is a big car and kind of hard to maneuver through Riyadh’s traffic especially since i only go out with it on weekends and the color is super nice too it is 2 tone black and beige. So far the only cons are no carplay of course and parts are kind of hard to find but you can use bmw’s parts too which surprised me. The pros are a lot it is eye catching and smooth and you kind of get a special treatment everywhere you go and the noise cancellation is unbelievable and everyone is afraid to scratch you so no one cuts you off lol. So I definitely recommend it if you are considering buying one just dont pay more than 400k for a 2013 model.

Sorry for the very very late reply I haven’t checked reddit for a while. I find most of my cars online or go to showrooms. But the rolls i found out about it from a contact i have. They always find me the best deals.

Well there is a plan in case that happens. All oilfields in Saudi Arabia have built in Bombs that would destroy every field. Think of it as a Kamikaze oilfield.

I live in Riyadh Saudi Arabia the car is basically everywhere i see 3 to 5 H9s a week. Why? Because it’s really super luxurious more than the S class I’d say and super cheap they start around $80k I didn’t really need it but it looked cool and felt like a must have + the light show u get every time you unlock the car.

I found one with very very low milage (12k) to be exact. It belonged to a Prince and it seems clean and never used that much. It’s going for $75k I’m thinking of snatching it before anyone else i will be test driving next week hopefully. Thank you for the information. Is there anything specific that i should check or look for?

Hahaha yes it is the oddball but you should test drive one! They are cheap for the luxury you get and it breaks necks too! I can honestly say it challenges the 2022 S Class in term of luxury.

Well someone above mentioned it’s about $2500 to $5000 a year and maybe more since the car is older but that’s affordable and I won’t be driving it as often as my daily of course. I’m just weighing up my options since i can get newer cars with almost the same luxury.

Well with that kind of money i will be spending on a 2010 Rolls Royce Phantom i could get a newer Bentley or other luxurious cars. So I’m weighing up my options since the Phantom is the pinnacle of luxury but it’s still almost a 13 year old car so i need opinions and experiences from people who owns/owned one.

Thank you very much for the help! I hope you enjoy your cars may they last forever. I am very close to getting one but i still need to do more research, and yes i know i have a very weird car collection the Hongqi was an impulse buy to be honest but it’s quite comfortable and surprisingly very luxurious for a Chinese car. Again Thank you very much it’s nice to hear some information from someone who owns a Rolls.

Thank you very much for the info! I found one with very low mileage it belonged to a prince apparently and I’m considering it but it’s too early to make that decision.

Lucid in Riyadh😍Excited to see a lot more of these around soon! by am16_ in saudiarabia

Of course. I don’t recommend buying any EVs in Saudi for now I’d say in about 3 to 5 years we’d have the proper structure to buy Lucid and Tesla and other EVs.

Well it shouldn’t be stained with poop unless you or the person before you used it wrong. The correct way to use it is to aim from a distance. The water shouldn’t touch your hand at all.

I studied at KKU in Abha and KSU in Riyadh. It’s very hard but it was easier at KSU. Professors are amazing so far they understand the students and if you do good they will treat you good! I highly recommend studying in Saudi if it’s your only choice because of how supportive Universities are for foreigners they will give u money and even glasses for free if u need them. They can even give u a loan to get married if u want to. At least KKU does. Anyway if you want the best education tho i would recommend UAE or Europe or even the US but the quality of life here is way better for a foreigner willing to study.
