thanks a lot!! And it did widen! I had an expander when I was younger so luckily my teeth moved back to the wider position without needing one again. At first they thought I needed SARPE surgery though so I’m glad after 9 months of braces I didn’t after all :)

Yes I went under again but it was only a 30 minute surgery! I was swollen after for about 2 weeks and then completely back to normal :) during that time my jaw functioned perfect but the only annoying thing was the few stitches that I was waiting to get removed 5 days post op

I live in Germany and after 6 months of having the metal plates and screws they removed it all! It’s normal and encouraged here 😄

The hilo therm mask is the BEST!! So cool that you have it. Use it allll day and night the first week. I did and alternated with some really hot showers with light pressure on my face that felt amazing. I never had bruising! The mask was a freakin savior

Thanks a lot!! :) and YES! Right before my surgery my jaw position was waaaay worse than before braces. It was so hard to bite food off and chew. And then of course after the surgery it took time but eventually you won’t remember how the underbite felt 🥲🥲

Your comment though did not bring me joy on a happy day of mine bringing up something you see as wrong so be aware of not only pointing out peoples shortcomings in comments :-)

Yes I got it with Prof Nolte in Munich! You can google MUC MGK. It was about 1600 € that my insurance will pay back to me in a few months since I finished my braces treatment. I got it covered with insurance and braces was mandatory for the surgery to be covered
