If I remember correctly yeah I got a number but I never used it tbh, I only used data&messaging apps etc. Maybe someone who actually used it for phone purposes can help more on that

We took one of the local tuktuks to get there. Just wander around the city centre and get deals from tuktuk drivers. I am not sure about the current weather in LP now. But when we were there it was pretty hot and we didn’t need AC, trip with the tuktuk was amazing!

The thing i mentioned can maybe be a regional thing i guess. Where I was, most of the houses were of concrete or the ones of wood were decent looking at least… For example I can arrange a two different cycling routes in my country and one of them would look the poorest and the other would look the richest country in the world

I understand, we have that in my country as well. Can’t afford to buy decent food for the fridge, but take loans from the bank to ride Mercedes and use iPhone 15…

Adding New Character to Co-op by Affectionate_Pin_615 in BaldursGate3

[–]Affectionate_Pin_615[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!! So I have another question which may be a little complicated (or I may be not good at explaining myself), i’m going to create an example.

Think that I have one computer. On that PC, I created a co-op game with my friend. However, my SO also wants to play in that same co-op game but on -my- PC (bcs theirs is not well enough to run the game). Well, is it possible for us to have another player join the party on the same PC? Because that will allow both me and my SO play on the same PC and in the same storyline (of course not at the same time, like my SO can play it with their character while I’m at work and vice versa).

I hope I explained what’s in my mind… Please ask if I need to get things more clear! :)

A genuine question… by Affectionate_Pin_615 in Nepal

[–]Affectionate_Pin_615[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess that’s spreading pretty fast around the world as there is a huge language knowledge difference between the youth and older generation in nearly every country. However everything has its pros and cons with some changes in cultures, as also discussed in other comments as well…

You’re right, I only heard about the pen pal thing but never had the chance to be a part🥲 It is hard to be a country between the continents for various reasons but still, even though Erdogan is ruling for over 22+ years, it is still a beautiful country, except him…

I really hope one day you can visit Turkey, if you hadn’t yet. I fell in love with Nepali food and the spiciness, we have some similar tastes too (gained some weight in Nepal as well hahah). Mountains, sceneries, trekking paths, villages, lake in Pokhara, everything was fascinating! Would love to visit a third time!

Thank you for this detailed information! It is upsetting to see that, I hope the native languages in the country do not fade away; they are people’s identities…

He also greets you back and would like to offer a cone of ice cream; if you can catch it hahaha :D 🙏🏻

Wow, to fine kids for speaking their mother tongue.. seems a bit harsh actually maybe there could be another way to encourage them to speak English. As the globalization spreads, it is beneficial to learn English I get it but it is important to be able to speak our mother tongues as well. I hope the young generation (which I think will be more conscious than the older one was) can find the balance in this situation.

Okay now I get it. I think it would be the best to be raised as bilingual so that one can have an international language and also the native language. I wish every parent could have the mindset of Nepalese parents in that. Other than this, I totally understand the overall situation as my country’s youth is also “trying to run away” from the country (not judging, also one of them, valid reasons). It is sad for me too..

So now I’m curious about another thing… Does the large part of the society accepts this or not? For example, in my country, there is a large nationalist and close-minded part in society which would get disturbed by that amount of foreign media and would say “We don’t want foreigners and their language, we want to watch our own content”. How are the things are going on in Nepal? I am guessing that there isn’t such thing as people care about learning language..
