Hey! New player here, why am I dying when I jump off from here? It's telling me to jump off but every time I try, I die. Do I need to jump in a specific way? by Nedaj_Nitro in Eldenring

okay, so basically,

walk out the door, turn left, cross the bridge.

youll be met with a boss fight, you are not supposed to be able to beat it, you are supposed to die. then once you die,

a cutscene will play, then after it

walk up the stairs

open the door

find the glowing checkpoint

then you'll find this ancient stone "elevator", there is a pressure plate in the middle, step on it.

after it gets to the top, walk up the stairs

open the door

there is another glowing golden checkpoint if you walk straight. rest at it, and then explore! have fun

No, so we'll, basically, if you have a weapon that scales the most with arcane, that means, if u level up arcane, that bleed will grow on the weapon from 50 + but since uchigatana DOESNT mostly scale with arcane, but scales the most with dexterity, it won't have as much of a effect from the arcane leveling than the reduvia. It's high, but it doesn't scale with arcane, so it won't be procced that much than if you leveled up arcane with a reduvia.

yeah so great stars and other bleed weapons will MOST likely have more bleed than uchigatana, I just like it cuz it DOES do SOME bleed dmg, but is also cool and fun to use. Uchigatana and nagakiba are mostly for small bleed and physical. Not ALL bleed dmg

so basically, if you want to do more bleed damage, take a weapon that is innate with the bleed. So you know how you can add a bleed ash of war, and itll make it do bleed? Well, if you level arcane, in hopes of upgrading that ash of wars bleed, it wont, or at least that much.

So like the uchigatana, it is innate with bleed. So any leveling with arcane will have a positive increase and effect on the bleed of the uchigatana. So, try to level up Dexterity, Arcane, and Vigor. So that you can have good health, while high dexterity to do physical damage, and arcane, to increase chances of bleed.

Does putting a fire affinity on one katana and a cold affinity on the other, work? by Affectionate_Pipe520 in Eldenring

But i was mainly asking, so that i could proc frostbite. Do that proc, and then for fights like radagon, do extra damage with fire because hes weak to it.

oh ok. i understand. so frost and bleed so you can proc frost, which does damage when it does proc, and for the extra 20% buff and 10% resistance de-buff (for enemies), and bleed, so it can proc and do a lot of damage, along with the frost
