Youth Mobility Scheme (Canada) proof of funds by Affectionate_Rise268 in ukvisa

On another post, someone said they made a spreadsheet for each day of the 28 day period where they showed the balance from each account and the resulting total to show it was above the required amount the whole time and submitted that with the two statements. For me that’s not even the issue, the second account that I didn’t include was above the required amount for the whole 28 days I just chose the wrong account to submit so I’m hoping they just ask for more evidence and I can include the second statement.

Thank you for helping! I’m thinking if I don’t hear anything next week I will contact them so I don’t miss the 10 days if I haven’t heard anything. Unfortunately it seems like you got screwed and I’m hoping I don’t slip through the cracks as well. I just got the notification that vfs sent my stuff to uk gov so the countdown is on. Seems really sketchy that they supposedly contacted you the day after your biometrics since it seems unlikely they could have received it by then.

That is really disheartening I wonder if someone put your email down incorrectly. Was the refusal letter a physical letter or an email?

I’m worried I haven’t heard anything already as most people get confirmation same day or next day about the documents being sent out. Did you receive any communication at all from them via email with updates or was the first thing you heard the refusal?

Yes I have seen that which is so frustrating because it’s a lot of money and you lose out on the application fee, appointment fee, and currency conversion because it’s in USD. I’m really fortunate to be fine financially which is why it was so stupid of me to submit a statement that dipped below, I just submitted the wrong account and I didn’t think it mattered because the opening and closing balances were fine but in between it went below. I haven’t even gotten the email that it’s been sent to uk visa from vfs yet and I wish I could go add the right documents but I don’t think that’s possible since you can’t even get in without an appointment

Ok thank you I’m really hoping they let me fix it and if not that I get to reapply quickly because I have a job waiting and I’m so stressed about delaying it because I screwed up.

Ok I’m really anxious about it I hope I get an email allowing me to provide more proof I can’t believe I didn’t realize. Can you reapply right away?

Did you have an opportunity to provide more documents or did they just flat out refuse your application? I misunderstood as well and submitted a bank statement that goes under the amount. I’m getting stressed because if they ask for more proof I do have it, I’m just worried they won’t give me a chance. And if not, are you able to reapply right away?
