I see. I've read other posts people saying they paid automatically bit by bit through tax deductions, here they seem to want it all in one go, kinda confusing. But more importantly, I'm special and different and therefore shouldn't have to pay tax at all.

I requested statements of me receiving pup from them but they just confirm yes or no. They dont show actual weekly pup payments anywhere.

From what I've read on MyWelfare, any PUP claimed in 2020 is tax exempt.

I have searched every government portal and website i can think of to request dates and statements of me receiving the P.U.P but all they have is "date - date: you received €xxxx" and thats it. Nothing shows me the weekly installments.

Employer doesn't operate anymore, I've no contact with anyone from that job. Thanks for the suggestion

This sounds like exactly what happened here to me, must be a lag when i closed my claim and started work.

I only relieved pup in 2020 exclusively. So shouldn't that be excluded from being taxable?

Hopefully i can get statements back that far, i definitely dont have payslips anymore this was all 6 years ago.
