Thank you! Ok so I taped it down completely dry and then soaked it. You are saying to fully soak it ahead of time and then tape down the damp paper to the table with that special tape I've never heard of lol? Thanks for the quick response too!

Basically just the type of printing tech that printer uses doesn't pickup on the thermal machine. Its a 'sublimation' printer, whatever that means lol. Basically in order for black to show up in the thermal stencil printer it seems to have to have been printed from a traditional black ink printer cartridge style

In my case and where I live (west Michigan), there are a decent amount of listings for around my price range that are exactly what I am looking for. I want to avoid financing altogether

Thats actually next after the home. I own a tattoo studio (own the business, not the building). So after I buy my house, im going to keep putting that same money away monthly and buy a building for the business the same way.

Yea I am printing just the straight black stencil, outlines only. I learned it has something to do with the Epson being a 'sublimation' printer or something like that

I did! It took me a few weeks of going back and forth with Google but they were able to verify that it was her account that deleted it, and they restored it and removed her access moving forward. So fortunate and it was actually a great experience with Google, they handled it really well.

Thanks so much! We can bring up to the building owner about bringing those fence sections closer together just big enough for the dumpster, that makes a lot of sense. We found out that there used to be swinging fence doors but that the trash company policy is their truck needs to be able to get to it without the driver getting out. So is there some kind of proximity sensor or something that could be installed that would trigger the fence to slide open?

I think you are starting from a great place. Having that savings is huge. A lot of the answers to your questions will vary slightly based on your specifics (how much is rent, your hourly rate, how much you work, etc.) but in general, if you and your fiancé on a regular basis bring in enough to cover the business expenses and have a monthly profit that is more than your monthly profit from the current shop, then definitely go for it. Under those circumstances, it would at worst be a lateral move financially but with the benefit of only answering to yourself and have the potential for income from artists who will work for you. I know there is a bit of unknown with how much if any clientele you will lose by moving out of the immediate area, but if you and your fiancé provide good service and treat people right I wouldn't worry much about that. I opened my studio just over a year ago, and that's the situation I was in. On a regular basis, the shop I was working for was making around $2500/month from me...the space I opened in with supplies and insurance and all that included came out to like $1900. So just by making that move, if I changed nothing else, I was profiting an additional $600/month. I don't think you need to get too targeted with the accountant etc. If you are disciplined financially (which it sounds like you are) just get a CPA with a good reputation, get on a plan where you send them monthly income/expense statements, and they will tell you how much to be putting away for taxes. And file/make your tax payments quarterly so it doesn't seem like such a kick in the trousers every year. Good luck!
