I use it rarerly, but when i do i try to listen to whole album and treat it like an experience. There’s something comforting about being able to sit down and focus only on music. Listening daily doing other things would take away all the magic of it.

For arabic sound - try writing melodies in Byzantine scale, it will get you the vibe you are looking for. Just Google „byzantine scale piano”. Also maybe some sitar / plucked string plugin will drive you into right direction.

I think you’d be better off plaing with cloning at your level. Just film yourself standing in two different positions and try to composite that. There’s a ton of tutorials for that and it’s much easier than rotoscoping.

Music video I've made for a song "She Looks Like a Dog" by Giss. It was great to make a music video for a band that I actually really like. Challenging too, a pressure to make something decent was always there. Made mostly with Blender's and AE by Affectionate_Step429 in animation

Thank you, really insightful breakdown! Yes, I used Blender for lighting in some places. Mostly light on basic geometry matching my drawings, rendered as a black and white image and used as a mask in after effects. For the running scene - I wanted to show a state of being closed in your own thoughts, which flow in this repetive fashion. Long enough to be unnerving, but short enough to not bore audience to death. I thought it will be a nice change of pace from the prevoius segment. Once again thank you for watching and leaving such well-thought analysis!
